Since it’s debut, Kaan Zamaan’s founder and director Julia Reinholt has held monthly exhibitions supporting Northland, national and international artists. Established in 2001, it all started on Kemp Road, in Julia’s home studio. Since then it outgrew it’s premises three times, but now, 16 years on, it’s time to downsize again.
The recent arrival of Julia’s grandson was the catalyst for a change of direction. The established artists she represents will continue to exhibit but in a smaller more intimate space. Julia has recently renovated her naturally lit small studio, making it an ideal little venue for a new beginning.
