Alessandro Caminiti was born in Messina on June 4, 1977 . He graduated from the Art School of the City, but after some apprenticeship at the Academy decided to devote himself entirely to the art world. Creator of the Sicily Awards, he has participated in many significant events, exhibits widely worldwide and makes memorable challenges with other American artists. His high-profile artistic exhibitions – the prominent critics note – are widespread and spontaneously spreading; the sought development of new artistic paths and courageous exploration of new models, led him to be one of the most representative names of Sicilian art in the world.

Caminiti’s works are spontaneous and highly expressive. They lead the viewer to seek access, to try to understand how the artist can construct his works, how he can express his feelings. The artist then transfers the work’s sensitivity, working with unstoppable frenzy, to refine the idea, recreating a new and more comprehensive interpretation, every time.
